Inended Use:

The PTH Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a fluorescence immunoassay

for the quantitative detection of parathyroid hormone (PTH) in human whole blood,

serum or plasma as an aid in the diagnosis of hypercalcemia and hypocalcemia.

Principle:

The PTH Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) detects PTH antigen based on

Fluorescence Immunoassay. The sample moves through the strip from sample pad to

absorbent pad. If the specimen contains PTH antigen, it attaches to the fluorescent

microspheres-conjugated PTH antibody. Then the complex will be captured by the anti

PTH in test line region. The concentration of PTH in the sample correlates with the

fluorescence signal intensity captured on the test line, which can be scanned by the

analyzer. The testing result of PTH will display on the analyzer screen.
